Older Partner API releases, condensed to their minor (x.y) lines. Patch releases are folded into the minor they shipped under.

Version 1.12

Released: September 17, 2026

Unified transcript imports — one multipart upload accepts a text transcript or audio recording.

  • POST /v1/partner/user/meetings/{id}/transcript/import imports into an existing meeting (meetings:write).
  • POST /v1/partner/user/transcript-imports imports and auto-creates a meeting when no meeting_id is supplied; text imports return synchronously, audio imports return an async job.
  • GET /v1/partner/user/transcript-imports/audio/jobs/{jobId} polls audio import status.
  • Text formats: .txt, .md, .srt, .vtt, .pdf (text layer only); common audio formats (MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC, WebM) supported.
  • Agenda item talking_points are now stored and returned as markdown (non-breaking; HTML writes are still accepted and normalized).
  • See the transcript import guide; SDK 1.12.0 adds the corresponding methods.

Version 1.11

Released: September 3, 2026

Meeting search plus tighter webhook auto-disable.

  • GET /v1/partner/user/meetings/search (meetings:read) — full-text q over titles and summary/notes content (quoted phrases, -term exclusions), with start_time_from/to, status, title_contains, participant_emails, has_action_items filters and limit/offset pagination. Same index and response shape as GET .../meetings.
  • Meeting responses gain applied_template_ids on every meeting-returning endpoint; omitted when empty.
  • Webhook auto-disable now trips at 10 consecutive failed attempts (was 50 abandoned deliveries) or 72h without a successful delivery, including never-delivered endpoints; the webhook_auto_disable flag is removed. Re-enable with PUT /v1/partner/admin/webhook-status. See Webhook Management.

Version 1.10

Released: August 5, 2026

Backlog Items and Attachments APIs, agenda item ordering and type fixes.

  • Seven new /v1/partner/user/backlog-items endpoints (list, create, read, update, delete, assign to meeting, history) reusing meetings:* scopes. Assigning an item moves it onto a meeting agenda; the backlog item then reads as 404 and appears in history.
  • Five new /v1/partner/user/meetings/{id}/attachments endpoints (list, upload, metadata, delete, download). Attachments are stored as uploaded — not normalized or PII-scrubbed.
  • Agenda item sequence (decimal fractional index) is now writable on create and update; omitting on create appends after the last item.
  • Breaking: item_type accepts exactly DISCUSSION, QUESTIONS_TO_ANSWER, BREAK, ADJOURN. The previously advertised DECISION/ACTION_ITEM/INFORMATION never worked; anything else now returns 400 invalid_item_type. item_type on update is applied rather than silently ignored.
  • restricted_to_leads removed from all agenda-item responses; toolkit manifests setting it remain valid but the field is ignored.
  • presenter_details (name + email for workspace presenters) added alongside presenters, which is deprecated; PUT responses now return real presenters instead of an empty array.

Version 1.9

Released: July 20, 2026 — includes patch 1.9.1 (July 27, 2026)

DNS/TXT domain ownership verification for Partner SSO, plus IdP domain lifecycle webhooks (1.9.1).

  • New endpoints: POST /v1/partner/admin/idp/domains/{domain}/verify (initiate/rotate challenge), GET /v1/partner/admin/idp/domains/{domain} (status), POST /v1/partner/admin/idp/domains/{domain}/check (complete verification). Claiming an unverified domain in strict mode returns 400 domain_not_verified. See the SSO guide.
  • (1.9.1) New partner-app-scoped webhook events partner.idp.domain_verified, partner.idp.domain_verification_failed, partner.idp.domain_revoked — delivered even with no connected user; payloads carry domain, status, timestamp only.
  • (1.9.1) User-originated action item completion now delivers both action_item.updated and action_item.completed; completions reconciled from external TODO providers deliver action_item.updated only.

Version 1.8

Released: June 11, 2026 — includes patch 1.8.1 (July 2, 2026)

Opt-in idempotency across mutation endpoints and agent-native API resources.

  • Idempotency-Key header accepted on admin and user mutations: replays return the stored response with Idempotent-Replayed: true; reuse with a different payload returns 422 idempotency_key_reuse; concurrent keys return 409 + Retry-After. Records retained 24h. See the idempotency guide.
  • Machine-readable agent artifacts published: llms.txt, agent/operations.json, agent/mcp.json. See the agent integration guide.
  • (1.8.1) GET /v1/partner/user/meetings/{id}/transcript/export downloads a transcript as SRT (Elite plan); new Feature Gating and User Preferences guides.

Version 1.7

Released: May 16, 2026 — includes patch 1.7.1 (May 22, 2026)

Toolkit distribution across workspaces and workflow dry-run mode.

  • Toolkit auto-propagation: auto_propagate / auto_install_on_new_workspaces fields on PATCH /v1/partner/admin/toolkits/{id}, propagation param (none|normal|force) on publish, new GET /v1/partner/admin/toolkits/{id}/installations and GET /v1/partner/admin/workspaces endpoints.
  • Workflow enhancements: dry_run runs, pre-flight readiness_issues, status: "rejected", action labels, persisted role_mappings. (The workflow endpoints were later removed in 1.14.)
  • Agenda item talking_points writable; action-button trigger returns an invocation_id; template responses carry toolkit provenance; toolkit version create returns structured conflicts with a force override.
  • (1.7.1) Housekeeping — SDK webhook spec refresh and sample toolkit tidy-up.

Version 1.6

Released: April 17, 2026

Workflow APIs and lifecycle webhooks (later removed in 1.14); leaf entities became toolkit-only.

  • Added workflow template/run endpoints with partner-api/workflows:read|write scopes and workflow.* webhook events — all removed in Version 1.14.
  • Breaking: standalone Admin CRUD removed for next steps, action buttons, and their associations — these are managed exclusively via the Toolkit Manifest. User-facing meeting endpoints (GET /meetings/{id}/next-steps, execute, trigger) are unchanged.

Version 1.5

Released: April 3, 2026

Introduces Toolkits — declarative JSON manifests bundling templates, AI next steps, and action buttons with atomic, versioned installation.

  • Admin endpoints for toolkit CRUD, versioning/publish, template management, and manifest export; user endpoints for listing and installing toolkits.
  • New scopes: toolkits:read, toolkits:write, next_steps:execute, action_buttons:trigger.
  • New webhooks: meeting_template.applied, next_step.completed, action_button.triggered.
  • SDK 1.5.0 adds full TypeScript support for the Toolkit APIs. See the Toolkit guide.

Version 1.4

Released: January 31 – March 20, 2026 (1.4.0 through 1.4.7)

Calendar event details, meeting webhooks, shared-workspace provisioning, webhook management, Meeting Context, and Chat Sessions across the 1.4 series.

  • (1.4.0) GET /v1/partner/user/calendar/events/{calendar_event_id}; new webhooks meeting.updated, calendar_event.created|updated|deleted, and agenda_item.created|updated|deleted.
  • (1.4.2) start_date/end_date query params standardized across search endpoints (start/end deprecated); error responses standardized on error + request_id (message deprecated).
  • (1.4.3) Shared-workspace provisioning: POST /auth/initiate accepts workspace_id and is_admin; GET /v1/partner/user/profile returns workspace_id/workspace_name/workspace_role; new workspace_not_found, workspace_not_authorized, workspace_conflict errors.
  • (1.4.5) Webhook management: auto-disable (thresholds later tightened in 1.11), PUT /v1/partner/admin/webhook-status with pending_disposition, and PUT|DELETE /v1/partner/admin/webhook-filter include/exclude filters.
  • (1.4.6) Meeting Context API — five …/meetings/{id}/context endpoints for upload/list/get/content/delete, gated by new context:read/context:write scopes.
  • (1.4.7) Chat Session API — four /v1/partner/user/sessions endpoints for turn-based agent conversations, optionally meeting-scoped and context-primed, gated by new chat:read/chat:write scopes.

Version 1.3

Released: January 21, 2026

Major Partner User API expansion: participants, agenda items, and calendar integration.

  • New endpoints: meeting participant management (GET|POST|DELETE …/meetings/{id}/participants), agenda item CRUD (GET|POST|PUT|DELETE …/meetings/{id}/agenda-items), and calendar integration (GET …/calendar/events, link/unlink, create-meeting-from-event).
  • New webhooks: meeting.created, meeting.completed, action_item.created, action_item.completed, participant.added, participant.removed.

Version 1.2

Released: January 8, 2026 — includes patch 1.2.1 (January 17, 2026)

Opaque, versioned token format.

  • Access/refresh tokens move to cto_at_v1_… / cto_rt_v1_…; legacy JWT tokens keep working with an X-Contio-Token-Deprecated warning header. Don't parse tokens locally — use oauth.introspectToken(). See the token migration guide.
  • (1.2.1) login_hint support in getAuthorizationUrl(), id_token introspection/verification, and Express webhook signature middleware.

Version 1.1

Released: January 2, 2026

Partner IdP SSO — users sign in with your corporate identity provider after connecting via OAuth. Adds getIdpLoginUrl() / getSsoStatusUrl() SDK methods. See the SSO integration guide.

Version 1.0

Released: November 15, 2025 — includes patch 1.0.1 (December 16, 2025)

Initial release: OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, meeting data access (summaries, notes, transcripts), action item management, webhook handling with signature verification, and full TypeScript types. (1.0.1 launched this documentation site.)
